Description
First "full" drawing I've done in a while, with complete characters (or in this case, just one) and an actual scenery background. Tried some different things in this piece, such as perspective, shading and lighting effects, gradients, etc. Started this around 9:00 last night but only got the base design for the girl done. Finally finished just now, and I'm kinda happy with how it turned out. Hope it makes you feel relaxed, heh.
Yes I realize it looks like her elbows would touch her kneecaps if she stood up. It shouldn't hurt the drawing, just my knowledge of human anatomy.

Wow, this really comes out a something entirely different than what we usually see from you. I really like the white waves around the island, and the gradients of the palm tree and the lens flare really are a nice finishing touch.
