Artist's Comments

This is how I spend most of my downtime. There's rarely anything on TV worth watching anymore. You see, I have three categories of television programming:

*Stuff I make a point to watch
*Stuff I'll just watch if there's nothing else on
*Stuff I refuse to watch

Stuff I make a point to watch is usually primetime stuff. Futurama, Family Guy, South Park, Drawn Together (which is already so much better this season), etc. Also some other good cartoons like Billy And Mandy or Spongebob (even though both are kinda heading downhill, unfortunately). Then there's stuff I'll watch just because I'm bored. Stuff I'd normally turn off if something better was on, you know? Foster's, My Gym Partner's A Monkey, Venture Bros., Fairly OddParents, just a bunch of random, nothing-special shows. I also might even watch bits of some animes or kids' cartoons, but that's rare. Usually I'm just watching those for the production values. And then there's the shows I will not watch. 12 Oz. Mouse, Tom Goes To The Mayor, Squidbillies, Xiaolin Showdown, Danny Phantom, Avatar, and animes of course. That's really not even the half of it for any of those sections, just examples. TV's really going downhill, at least in terms of cartoons, which as you can see, are the only thing I really watch.

TV is becoming obsolete, with internet nowadays, people can watch anything they want. Therefore, TV companies lose money and cancel their networks, which will end the shows we watch on the internet, which will take them off the web, which will ruin the internet service companies... yeah, that's my prediction of the day

I definately agree that tv is going downhill. I don't even watch tv much anymore. I buy movies and shows on DVD. If you want some good non-cartoon shenanigans, try Scrubs, My Name is Earl, or The Office. They're all pretty great.

(man, I need to get on the internet more than every 2 weeks.)

I really need a new signature so this will just have to do I guess

Eh, I still sort of like the stuff on tv. Surprised so many hate it. I guess I am just not picky.
:iconkhanco:
Sheesh! I know how you feel.

Especially like when one of your favourate porogrammes has just finnished and you still have time to kill. So you flick through the channels just to see whats on and there's NOTHING. Eventually you just end up seeing what crap they're trying to flog on the shopping channels.

I WISH we had Sky!!

It's like being served iced dog turd. Sure it's unusual and interesting to look at, but at heart it's just a pile of shit.

Go go Autism Rangers! Hiding from monsters, getting stressed out over nothing.

I go out of my way to revel in the glory that is Venture Brothers. I can't agree with you more on "12 Oz. Mouse, Tom Goes To The Mayor, Squidbillies, Xiaolin Showdown, Danny Phantom". I'd bash Avatar, but I've never seen it. Spongebob and Gym Parnter make me want to hurt myself.

None of this is vitally important information, though. I'm just putting off writing about poetry.

Because I can.
:iconnikoanesti:
Gym partner definitely makes me want to..yeah, hurt myself, but most Spongebob episodes are okay. Not so much the newer ones, but some of the earlier ones have a lot of good jokes, and some of the seasons 2 and 3 episodes have some excellent and hilarious storyboarding.
